3D Scanning
We are now providing a full 3D digital scanning service for your Study Models. Our onsite scanners can convert patient models or impressions into accurate 3D digital images. As the scanning is done in-house it ensures that we have complete control over quality and accuracy. We have partnered with 3Shape Ortho System which provides the latest in digital scanning technology. All you have to do is either supply the laboratory with accurate, well defined impressions and a wax bite or alternatively send us your intraoral scans from your practice/department through an STL format and we will take care of the rest.
Quick and simple receipt of files and easy-to use software gives the clinician access to a fully digital workflow enabling them to view their patient models on screen in the surgery. This eliminates the need to store physical models freeing up valuable storage space in your practice or department. We can also reverse engineer you digital images back to physical models at any time in the future
3D Printing
To complement our 3D Scanning services we have invested in state-of-the-art 3D printers, this enables us to 3D print your intraoral scans into physical study models and work models, thus eliminating the need for you to send us impressions. It can be used if there is a need to recreate models from your digital data, and it means digital files can be sent to us instead of impressions. It makes for a fast, seamless service – as soon as we receive the files we can start printing working models and if required create removable appliances from these prints.
Archiving Historical
Study Models
We offer an archive service for historical Study Model cases. This takes away the need to store physical models. We also offer a collection service and certified disposal service in line with new general data protection regulations (GDPR). Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.
